The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia- South Tower

The South Tower of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is one of the towers of the hospital. It was added during the 2001 expansion. The South Tower is 12-stories tall and dedicated to inpatient care. It has expanded bad capacity and expanded play space and rooms. The South Tower also expanded the hospital's Emergency Department and has a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center (Only one in the region). The South Tower also includes the largest intensive care unit (ICU) program in the country. The 38-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the 40-bed pediatric cardiac care unit. The 6th floor of CHOP, also known as, the Cardiac Center, has the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) as the South Tower.

8th: Pulmonary Intensive Care Unit

9th: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), General Pediatrics, Neurology

10th: Nothing.
